The Fan Simping Needs to Stop

Hey Geeks, this week we chat about Bungie openly admitting to plagiarism. Nintendo fans, and all fans for that matter, need to stop simping for companies who don't give sh*t about them. We talk a little about our experience with Soulframe. We also talk a bit about our time with Doom, the REPO beta, Bokura Planet, and Schedule 1. Additionally, we give some of our thoughts on some Anime we've been watching and recommend you stay away from one of them. And I just remembered I forgot to talk about Sinners, sh*t! Go see Sinners, it was freaking great.

Nothing Soft About It

Hey Geeks, this episode we talk about Microsoft increasing their prices now. This can only get worse. We also talk about EA firing hundreds of devs and more games journalists are losing their jobs. A few games got remastered/remade and this led us on a conversation about what the difference is and what games should be remastered/remade. Lords of the Fallen dev, CI Games, got flack for doing the right thing. Plus we give our opinions of a few games and an anime recommendation.

Hey Geeks! We're back and we've got some things to share with y'all. This episode we talk about Nintendo and the metric ton of stuff they dropped on everyone just a few weeks ago. And Bungie showed off Marathon to mixed reception. Will this be another Concord? We also chat a bit about what games we've been playing and give our thoughts on them, including Schedule 1 and Repo.

I don't even know who you are

Hey Geeks, this week we talk about Valve/Steam is a continual threat to the gaming industry, but the biggest friend to gamers. We talk about a BioWare dev who decided gamers were mean and need to stop. We also talk a little about the failure of Avowed and how every lesson that could be learned from it will absolutely be ignored. Additionally we talk about some Anime we've been enjoying, a prequal for a beloved TV show that recently finished up, and a game whose franchise should just stop. 

Getting political ... for about 15 minutes

Hey Geeks, this week is a rarity. We talk about politics. Now, now, nothing extremely serious. Just the fact that USAID gave money to publications to bat down Gamergate 2.0. That's right, the government thought they'd throw their hat into the arena of gaming affairs. As you can guess their understanding is about as extensive as Kotaku's so you can see where this is going. Anyway we also talk about a few games. Give our personal takes on Civilization VII. Catch up on some issues that cropped up involving Assassin's Creed Shadows. We even discuss some movies we're genuinely excited for. If you don't wanna hear out takes on the political nonsense, just skip ahead to 15:35 and you should be golden.

Microsoft Showed Some Stuff

Hey Geeks, this week we talked a little more about CES; some new cases that looked promising, a Sex Android that didn't, and what the newest GPUs mean for the gaming industry moving forward. A reporter at Video Games Chronicle believes games aren't expensive enough for ... gamers. Then we talk about the Developer Direct from Microsoft. We also talk about the Rippaverse. And finally, we give our thoughts on some movies and MiSide.

New Year, Same Geeks

Hey Geeks, happy 2025!!!! This week we do a little more discussion on Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. Square Enix has decided to updated their Harassment policy. CES happened and NVIDIA came out swinging and spouting vague truths. And finally we talk about what games we enjoyed most over the past year.
