Wednesday Jan 12, 2022
Wednesday Jan 12, 2022
Hey Geeks, here's this week's actual podcast. This week we talked about the wonder that is NFTs and what the hell is this industry thinking trying to push this scam? We also cover some CES and Nvidia's strategy of more money less GPUs. Live service games aren't working and Battlefield 2042 is a symptom. The word moist gets interjected into the podcast. Ubisoft has decided to officially enter the gaming subscription services arena. We give an update to our opinions on Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 as well as some games which have made their way to Game Pass recently. We also give our thoughts on The King's Man and The Matrix Resurrections.

Ep.318 - Our Hypocrisy
Monday Dec 06, 2021
Monday Dec 06, 2021
Hey Geeks, hope you have a wonderful holiday. This week we talk about what makes us hypocrites. It's been a year since the current-gen of gaming hit and most of us still can't get our hands on any of it. Consumers are partially to blame but it's not just because of demand. Forza Horizon 5's Auction House economy is broken. GTA Trilogy got an 18 GB patch and it still isn't fixed. Halo Infinite campaign is almost upon us, but has the multiplayer hyped or underwhelmed us? Plus we give out thoughts on Super Crooks and Live Action Cowboy Bebop.

Ep. 315 - Enter Sandman
Wednesday Nov 10, 2021
Wednesday Nov 10, 2021
Hey Geeks, we took our sweet time getting back didn't we? Anyway, this week we give a little update on our thoughts with regards to some Activision/Blizzard news. Nintendo's Switch Online Expansion uses a terrible emulator for N64 games all for the low low price of $30 more per year -__-. Square Enix's Marvel's Avengers is dead. Bungie has decided to make a very questionable call on Destiny 2's next DLC. Red Dead Redemption is coming to PC 10 years after it released on consoles and GTA 6 is in development hell. Battlefield 2042 should probably be delayed. Halo Infinite looks better, but we're still reserved to not get overhyped. Netflix games is apparently a thing. Amazon's New World wasn't ready and the lack of activities to keep a community proves it. Retailers know you can't get consoles and they're being very shady heading into the holiday season. We give our thoughts on What if..?, Season 3 of What We Do in the Shadows, Season 10 of American Horror Story, Sandman Act 2 (audio book), Kill it with Fire, and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Ep. 314 - Call of the Desert
Monday Oct 25, 2021
Monday Oct 25, 2021
Hey Geeks, this week we give you our thoughts on Dune (2021) and the possibility of not getting a part 2. We also talk about Babylon 5 was picked up by CW and why that really shouldn't excite anyone. Alec Baldwin shot a Cinematographer. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy was officially revealed and we're "whelmed." Back 4 Blood came out, we played the beta, but haven't played the game and for some reason that qualifies us to talk about it. DBrand dark panels were pulled to comply with Sony and make new ones. PlayStation is becoming more about limits than their marketing implies. DC's latest event showed off some upcoming films and games. The Uncharted film trailer was shown off. Plus, we give our opinions on The Long Halloween and some more anime.

Ep. 313 - All Trick Some Treat
Tuesday Oct 19, 2021
Tuesday Oct 19, 2021
Hey Geeks, this week we talk a little about The Masquerade 2's troubled development. Diablo 2 Resurrected is getting bad reviews. PS4 update 9.0 is trash and Sony has forgotten who their main customers are. Windows 11 has issues with AMD. Switch Online Expansion pricing is bad. Kirby and the Forgotten Land has our interest. Triangle Strategy is keeping the name. Kojima rumors are driving us nuts. eFootball is trash. EA won't pay for FIFA. The lack of competition is very evident in sports games. YouTube is practically pushing ads like network television. Rockstar is coming out with a GTA 3 Trilogy. Finally we give our input on Halloween Kills, Seventh Day, The New Legends of Monkey, and some anime.

Ep. 311 - Like the Band
Monday Sep 27, 2021
Monday Sep 27, 2021
Hey Geeks, this week we get completely derailed and talk about wrestling ... yup. Simu Liu proves that Hollywood wants to normalize unacceptable behavior. Activision/Blizzard is being questioned by the SEC (not the football conference). We question is it negativity or realism? And It would appear Doctor Who is getting a former creative mind back behind the wheel. Loach is really excited Stranger Things returning. We talk about some anime and give some recommendations. Also we discuss Star War Visions and did we mention Loach is excited for Stranger Things Season 4? He's excited.
