Ep. 324 - Beautifully Struggle Every Day
Wednesday Mar 02, 2022
Wednesday Mar 02, 2022
Hey Geeks, sorry for the long wait, but we finally figured out our mic issues. About time, right? Anyway we have a "lost" podcast that we're still working to recover so maybe we'll have another drop this week but in the meantime here's this week's. We talk about EA making some really dumb statements to explain away Battlefield 2042's failings and their attempt to walk that back. Activision developers shock everyone with honesty. We talk about Halo Infinite looking more and more like a service title. Elden Ring came out to rave reviews, but that doesn't make it the greatest game of all time nor is it perfect by any means. One of us thinks Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is the most overrated game he's ever played. Horizon Forbidden West is great but is it as polished as its predecessor? CyberPunk 2077 1.5 patch came out and brings some current-gen capabilities to the current-gen systems. And finally Destiny 2 is back on our wait for more content list.

BioWare magic was revealed to be exactly what we thought it was. Tom Brady is indeed the GOAT. Anderson reviews a year old game. Vargo now understands how Sifu gameplay works. King of Fighters 15 is getting the greatest day one roster we can remember ever seeing. We finish up with some Anime and give our opinions on Vox Machina and Scream 5.

Ep. 322 - Who’s driving this thing and where are we going?
Tuesday Jan 25, 2022
Tuesday Jan 25, 2022
Hey Geeks, this week we talk about Troy Baker mistakenly thinking NFTs are good. G4's PR nightmare that can't just not engage. Microsoft dropped a bomb on and everyone reacted including the stock market. EA allowed Battlefront 2 to go into disrepair. BioWare's loss of talent leaves very little hype for Dragon Age 4 and Mass Effect 4. AMD's 6500 XT is a joke of a GPU release. And finally we end on a topic we've been wanting to talk about for months ... where the hell is the MCU heading?

Ubisoft has decided to officially enter the gaming subscription services arena. We give an update to our opinions on Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 as well as some games which have made their way to Game Pass recently. Ep.318 - Our Hypocrisy
Monday Dec 06, 2021
Monday Dec 06, 2021
Hey Geeks, hope you have a wonderful holiday. This week we talk about what makes us hypocrites. It's been a year since the current-gen of gaming hit and most of us still can't get our hands on any of it. Consumers are partially to blame but it's not just because of demand. Forza Horizon 5's Auction House economy is broken. GTA Trilogy got an 18 GB patch and it still isn't fixed. Halo Infinite campaign is almost upon us, but has the multiplayer hyped or underwhelmed us? Plus we give out thoughts on Super Crooks and Live Action Cowboy Bebop.

Sifu is getting moved out of the way for Elden Ring. In turn we talk about the possibility of becoming future hypocrites. Call of Duty may be getting a perma-ban system in the near future. Ubisoft is continuing the march towards service based games. Halo Infinite Multiplayer was released early and we give our thoughts on it. Ep. 315 - Enter Sandman
Wednesday Nov 10, 2021
Wednesday Nov 10, 2021
Hey Geeks, we took our sweet time getting back didn't we? Anyway, this week we give a little update on our thoughts with regards to some Activision/Blizzard news. Nintendo's Switch Online Expansion uses a terrible emulator for N64 games all for the low low price of $30 more per year -__-. Square Enix's Marvel's Avengers is dead. Bungie has decided to make a very questionable call on Destiny 2's next DLC. Red Dead Redemption is coming to PC 10 years after it released on consoles and GTA 6 is in development hell. Battlefield 2042 should probably be delayed. Halo Infinite looks better, but we're still reserved to not get overhyped. Netflix games is apparently a thing. Amazon's New World wasn't ready and the lack of activities to keep a community proves it. Retailers know you can't get consoles and they're being very shady heading into the holiday season. We give our thoughts on What if..?, Season 3 of What We Do in the Shadows, Season 10 of American Horror Story, Sandman Act 2 (audio book), Kill it with Fire, and Guardians of the Galaxy.
